50 Collars in a Day! | Can We Make It?

We teamed up with Microsoft for day of caring. One day, set aside each year, that Microsoft employees get the day to work on projects for non-profits. We made enough collars for every dog at Little Angels Service Dogs to get a brand new one.

We booked a conference room from nine until four and filled it to the brim with sewing machines, fabric and paracord. Microsoft employees stopped by throughout the day to pitch in with cutting, pinning, and sewing collars.

Microsoft time matching program gives $25 to Little Angels Service Dogs, per hour that an employee works on the project. We made multiple sizes of collars ranging from 14”-24” so there would be a collar no matter what size dog they had.

This was also a fantastic opportunity to educate people on Little Angels Service Dogs, as well as service dog etiquette in general. If you like these fabric collars notify us and we will consider adding them to our product line.
